Notes from the Board Board Changes: MER welcomes new board members Mark Larson (National-Louis University), Ann Caspari (Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center) and Maria Marable-Bunch (Art Institute of Chicago) and bids a fond adieu to departing board members, Bert Davis, Marcia Wolter-Britton, Teresa Esterlund and Stacey Shelnut-Hendrick. New Board Officers: Susan Marcus moved to nominate Erik Holland to the slate as the new president of Museum Education Roundtable; Carol Brown seconded. The vote passed unopposed. Erik moved that we nominate Georganne Sisco to the slate as secretary; Jill Sanderson seconded. Vote passed unopposed. Georganne moved to nominate David Ebitz to the slate as treasurer; Erik seconded. Vote passed unopposed. Jim Angus moved that we accept the slate; Carol seconded. Vote passed unopposed. Erik appointed Jill Sanderson as Vice-President. Committee reports coming soon! |
